Colloque étudiant / La relève en architecture : ouss qu’on s’en va?

L’année 2010-2011 marque un événement important pour l’École d’architecture de l’Université Laval, qui célèbre le 50e anniversaire de sa fondation à Québec. L’ASSÉTAR (association des étudiants en architecture) désire profiter de l’effervescence des festivités qui entourent cet anniversaire et est fière d’inviter les étudiants en architecture des trois écoles du Québec à se réunir, à Québec même, autour du tout premier colloque d’architecture étudiant !

Sous le titre de LA RELÈVE EN ARCHITECTURE : « Ouss qu’on s’en va ? », ce colloque, qui se tiendra au cours de la fin de semaine du 26-27 mars 2011, mettra en scène trois tables rondes animées par les étudiants :
•   Architecture virtuelle et numérique
•   Architecture et Paysage(s)
•   Pratiques émergentes et novatrices de l’architecture.

The 2010-2011 academic year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Laval University School of Architecture in Quebec City. As part of the events organized to commemorate this landmark year, the undergraduate architecture student association, the ASSETAR, is pleased to invite its peers from the three other schools of architecture in Quebec to a conjoint architecture student symposium.

Entitled YOUTH AND ARCHITECTURE: “Where’re We Goin’?”, this symposium will be held over the course of the weekend of the 26th and 27th of March 2011 and will be comprised of three discussions hosted by the students:
•    Virtual and digital architecture;
•    Architecture and landscape(s);
•    Emerging and novel architectural practices.

Le coût de participation est de 10$ par étudiant, ce qui inclut un souper et un déjeuner ainsi qu’une tasse de café souvenir. Finalement, pour éviter les coûts liés au logement, un couchsurfing étudiant est organisé (vous trouverez les modalités dans le formulaire d’inscription).
Veuillez noter qu’il y a un nombre limité de 150 INSCRIPTIONS.

The cost to participate is 10$ per student, which includes the dinner and breakfast as well as a souvenir coffee mug.  In order to defray costs related to housing, a student couchsurfing has been organized (please see the registration form for details).

• Remplissez le formulaire d’inscription
• Envoyez votre formulaire dûment remplit à assetar@asso.ulaval.ca en écrivant NOM, PRÉNOM dans l’objet du courriel

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAYING THE REGISTRATION FEE

• Go to the PayPal website and choose SEND MONEY
• STEP 1: Click on “Send money” and choose to pay someone in “Canada”.  Enter the amount $10.00 in Canadian Dollars and check “Buying something” under “My payment is for”. Click “Continue”.
• STEP 2: Enter the email address assetar@asso.ulaval.ca in the To field and your own address in the From field. Click “Continue”.
• STEP 3: Provide the information requested and your credit card number.
• Before validating, verify the information provided and in the email to the receiver please enter your FIRST and LAST name.
• After receiving the PayPal confirmation, click on SHOW TRANSACTION DETAILS in order to obtain the confirmation number, which you will be asked to provide on the registration form (see the following instructions)
